JD38mln earned by 7 laboratories for testing Corona
The Audit Bureau report revealed that 7 private laboratories received a total of JD38 million for PCR tests during the Corona crisis, during the period from September 2020- March 2022, the share of which was JD36 million, representing 94% of the total amounts.
The report also stated that private laboratories were assigned to conduct the tests and collect the cost of the test directly through the “Visit Jordan” platform without coordination with the formed committee and without transferring any amounts to the treasury or documenting this with official assignment letters or agreements.
