Day 57 in war: Israeli bombardment continues in Gaza Strip, killing and wounding civilians
The Israeli occupation forces continued their violent bombardment by land, sea and air since last night on various areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.
The Israeli warplanes have intensified their bombardment of the eastern and central areas of Khan Younis since the pre-dawn hours with fire belts, in addition to shelling from gunboats and artillery.
Attacks were also reported on al-Qarara, northeast of Khan Younis, levelling to the ground four homes, as well as three mosques.
Occupation warplanes also launched last night a series of violent raids on homes in Sheikh Nasr and Bani Suhaila in Khan Younis, with fragments reaching UNRWA school where hundreds of displaced people are taking shelter, according to local sources.
In the central Gaza Strip, warplanes and gunboats continued to bomb several areas in Deir al-Balah,
In the northern Gaza Strip, the warplanes targeted homes in al-Tawam, Sheikh Radwan, Jabalia, and Beit Lahia.
Around 200 people, most of them women and children, have been killed since the end of the temporary humanitarian truce on Friday morning.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, more than 15,000 people have been killed, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, in addition to more than 37,000 wounded.
Thousands of people are still missing and the majority of them are likely dead under the rubble of their homes as rescue crews have not been able to recover them until now.
