Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) sent a new aid plane to the Gaza Strip in partnership with the UK charity Human Appeal, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, the Jordanian Armed Forces/Air Force, and the security services, and in coordination with Egypt.
The plane carries medicines, medical consumables, foodstuffs, and clothes weighing 45 tons, which will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent at El-Arish Airport to be brought into Gaza through the Rafah crossing.
The JHCO's Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, said that the organization is cooperating with all local, regional and international humanitarian organizations to intensify sending medical and relief aid of various types.
The JHCO is working to organize the requirements of the people of Gaza through official and partner bodies inside and outside the Strip, to secure the main and necessary needs, he stated.
The total number of aircraft sent to the people of Gaza since the beginning of the war has reached 11 aircraft of medical supplies, medicines, food and relief supplies.
