Arab ministerial meeting begins in Amman before meeting with Blinken
The coordination meeting of a number of Arab foreign ministers and the Palestine Liberation Organization began in Amman, in the context of their efforts aimed at stopping the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and the humanitarian catastrophe it is causing.
The meeting includes the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi, the Foreign Ministers of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt and the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
After the meeting, the ministers are scheduled to hold a joint meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, to affirm the Arab position calling for an immediate ceasefire and the immediate and urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to the sector.
They will discuss with Blinken all the repercussions and ways to end this dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the entire region.
