Jordan advises citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates advised Jordanian citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon during this period, except for extreme necessity.
This came out of the Ministry’s concern for the safety of Jordanian citizens abroad, and in view of the exceptional circumstances that the region is witnessing in general.
This call comes based on the preparations and emergency plans announced by the official authorities in Lebanon, stressing the Ministry’s keenness on the safety of everyone, the Ministry’s official spokesman, Sufyan Qudah said.
The Ministry stressed the need for Jordanian citizens residing and present in Lebanon to register immediately on the website of the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut, and to call to request assistance on the hotline of the Jordanian Embassy in Beirut: 0096181699837 or the Operations Center Unit in the Ministry: 00962799562903/ 00962799562471/ 00962799562193, or through the email of the Operations Center Unit: op.ctr@fm.gov.jo
