Gaza's Health Ministry: Four hospitals in Gaza out of service
The Ministry of Health in Gaza said Wednesday that 4 hospitals in the Strip were out of service, and that they were facing a major health disaster in the Strip.
The health ministry spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, announced that hospitals in Gaza had entered the stage of virtual collapse due to power outages and fuel scarcity.
Al-Qudra sent an urgent distress call to all gas station owners and anyone who has any liter of diesel to immediately contact the Ministry of Health via its toll-free number (103) in order to save the lives of the wounded and sick.
Severe damage was caused to Al Karama Hospital in Gaza, which led to it being out of service as a result of the Israeli occupation forces targeting neighboring buildings and their falling towards it, he confirmed.
Parts of the Gaza European Hospital and the Emirati field hospital from inside were also damaged as a result of the Israeli occupation forces targeting the hospital entrance on Salah al-Din Road.
Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, is at risk of being out of service at any moment, in addition to the medical staff being extremely exhausted from work.
