The Moroccan Embassy in Amman has announced that that it is welcoming those who wish to express condolences for the victims of the devastating earthquake, for two days from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm, at the embassy’s headquarters in the capital, Amman.
Morocco witnessed, two days ago, an earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale, centered in the Moroccan province of Al Haouz, which is about 80 km away from the city of Marrakesh.
2,122 people killed in the earthquake as of 7:30 pm Sunday (18:30 GMT), according to the Ministry of the Interior, and 2,421 injured.
