Customs warns of impersonators of anti-smuggling men
The Jordan Customs Department has warned that people enter shops claiming that they are in the official position of the department’s anti-smuggling men, and they search the shops impersonating customs men in civilian clothes.
The department called on shops owners and commercial establishments to verify the ID of any person who comes to them in this manner and in civilian clothes, as verifying the ID of any person is a right of citizens.
The Jordan Customs Department calls on merchants to report any of these practices on the toll-free number of the Anti-Smuggling Directorate 105.
