Jordan Medical Association (JMA) announced Thursday a ban on smoking in all its buildings at its headquarters in Amman and sub-committees in the governorates.
The decision came in line with the royal directives to prepare an integrated strategy to combat smoking to protect society and preserve public health, the association said in a Facebook post.
