Senator Jamal Shawabkeh passed away, Monday, at the age of 72.
The retired Lieutenant General Jamal Salem Shawabkeh was born on May 5, 1951.
He had a master's degree in international relations - New York University 2006, a bachelor's degree in administration - Mutah University 1988, a diploma in military sciences - Mutah University 1972.
The late served as a special advisor to His Highness Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, a military advisor for crises in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American CLS, and a military advisor to the President of the Republic of Yemen.
He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Joint Staff - Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, Commander of Joint Special Operations, Commander of the Security and Special Protection Unit to protect Jordanian aircraft, airports and embassies outside the Kingdom, Chief of Staff of Special Operations, Commander of the Royal Special Forces, and Commander of the Anti-Terrorism Group - Special Forces Property.
The late also was a member of the twenty-eighth Senate, and a member of the twenty-ninth Senate.
