During a teleconference, Qaisi and Koumis stressed their commitment to developing tourism relations, enhancing bilateral cooperation and enhancing coordination in various fields.
Qaisi briefed Koumis on investment opportunities in the tourism sector in Jordan and joint tourism investment opportunities between the two countries.
He pointed out that the ministry is looking to benefit from the Cypriot experience on transportation between different tourist sites, extending an offer to Cyprus to leverage the Jordanian tourism expertise as well.
The meeting also tackled Jordanian employment in Cyprus, opportunities for cooperation in the field of joint tourism vocational training, and follow-up on the implementation of a proposed program, which included sending Jordanian students to Cyprus for education and training through the Jordan Hotels Association.
