A Cabinet session held Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, approved an amending bylaw for the administrative organization of General Ifta Department for 2023.
The regulation aims to enable the department to carry out its duties according to the legislation related to its work, in line with its vision and mission.
The system also comes in view of the expansion of the oversight work on all fatwa services of General Ifta Department, and the 'large' number of its fatwas (Islamic religious dictates), which requires the presence of a directorate that carries out oversight activities 'efficiently and effectively.'
The Council of Ministers also approved the administrative organization bylaw for Cities and Villages Development Bank (CVDB) for 2023.
This system aims to enable the bank to implement Article (3) of the law amending its Law No. (8) of 2022, by transferring Governorates Development Fund from Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) to CVDB.
Moreover, the bylaw seeks to develop the bank's organizational structure to enable it to carry out its tasks under the law.
