Reservations for 5-star hotels in Aqaba from the 10- 12 July reached 86%, compared to 69% in the Dead Sea, 69% in Amman, and 35% in Petra, according to spokesperson for Jordan Hotels Association (JHA), Hussein Hilalat.
Hilalat said that occupancy rates in 4-star hotels in Aqaba amounted to 90%, the Dead Sea 61%, and Amman 64%, while it was 26% in Petra, according to Al Mamlaka TV.
3-star hotels occupancy rate reached to 78% in Amman, 16% in Petra, and 86% in Aqaba, he noted.
