The Jordanian Seismological Observatory (JSO) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources recorded Tuesday morning a 3.4-magnitude earthquake in Wadi Araba area, west of Bir Mathkour village, south of Jordan.
In a statement to Ammon, President of the observatory Ghassan Sweidan said that the earthquake, recorded at 1:25 p.m. Amman time, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Sweidan indicated that the earthquake is from a weak to medium level, noting that no feeling of it was reported by the citizens in those areas.
