Royal Court Chief talks development with Russeifa local leaders
As part of royal directives, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi, held more meetings Monday with local leaders and representatives of Russeifa to discuss development needs of their district in the Zarqa Governorate.
Today's meeting was one in a series the Royal Court Chief held recently with Russeifa representatives to follow up on a visit by His Majesty King Abdullah to the district on June 26.
During the meeting, which was attended by His Majesty the King’s Adviser for Tribal Affairs, Atef Hajaya and Zarqa Governor Hassan Jabour, Issawi noted that His Majesty highlights the need to alleviate living pressures on citizens and improve services, particularly in health and education sectors, and find job opportunities to reduce the problems of poverty and unemployment.
Issawi, who heads the committee on implementation of the King's initiatives, pointed to Russeifa's location and the opportunities available in the region to attract investments and launch projects in cooperation with the private sector.
He said a number of Royal Initiative development and service projects had been launched in the region in the past years, pledging more projects in the next stage that generate jobs for the youth.
The attendees commended the King's efforts, noting the importance of the royal visit and the King's keenness to reach out to community's across the country and check on their needs.
