On Wednesday evening, a man had made a police report claiming he was attacked by three unidentified men and stabbed in the thigh before being robbed of JD13,000 that he was carrying on his person. He told the police that the attackers had fled the scene with the money.
After thorough examination of the crime scene and gathering and checking information, investigators were made certain that the man had made the incident up to take the money.
