JFA to adopts "Light VAR" technology in Jordanian stadiums
Jordan Football Association (JFA) is considering adopting the VAR Light, which is similar video assistant referee (VAR) technology, to apply it in Jordanian stadiums during the next year, according to the Federation's vice president, Marwan Jumaa, on Monday.
Jumaa estimated that the operational cost of the 'VAR' is more than one million dinars annually, explaining that it is a high cost for the JFA.
Therefore, the JFA is studying the adoption of the VAR, according to Jumaa, who confirmed that the technology will not be applied in the current football season, according to what Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
