Temperatures on Monday are expected to rise, but remain 4-5 degrees below the annual average, with pleasant weather conditions prevailing in most parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Over the next two days, mercury levels will continue to increase, bringing sunny and fair conditions in much of the country, and warm weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at medium and high altitudes, and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Today, the highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom will range between 17 and 21 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 10C or even 6C in the southern highlands.
In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much warmer with mercury reaching a high of 30C and a low of 19C.
