Jordanian MPs meet senior EU officials on Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories
Jordanian MPs Friday met in Brussels, Belgium, with the director of the Middle East Department in the European Parliament and the EU's special representative for the Middle East Peace Process.
The Second Deputy Speaker of Jordan's Lower House, Nassar Haisah, said the developments and transformations the world is witnessing make it 'imperative for everyone to take immediate action to uphold regional and international peace and security.'
Haisah added that ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories based on the two-state solution 'is the key to stability and peace in the region.'
Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Jordan's Lower House, Khaldoun Hina, urged international efforts to push for negotiations to end the occupation and secure peace and stability.
