Jordan offers condolences to Egypt over death of official in Sudan
The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday expressed condolences to Egypt over the death of the Assistant to the administrative attache at the Egyptian Embassy in Khartoum, who was killed amid fighting between rival military factions in the Sudanese capital.
In a statement, the ministry reiterated its call for all parties in Sudan to exercise restraint, put an immediate end to the fighting, resume dialogue, and abide by the political framework agreement in order to bring about a new phase that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people and contributes to bolstering security, political and economic stability in the African country.
