Jordan provides logistical support for evacuation of Dutch nationals from Sudan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra, expressed his thanks to Jordan for providing the necessary logistical facilities for the evacuation of Dutch nationals from Sudan.
'Very grateful to the Jordanian government and my dear colleague Ayman Safadi for hosting our Ambassador Irma van Dueren, and staff from Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Dutch Ministry of Defence. Thanks to your hospitality, they are able to monitor the difficult situation in Sudan.,' Hoekstra said in a tweet on his official account.
It is worth noting that Jordan provided logistical facilities to facilitate the process of evacuating Dutch nationals from Sudan, as the Netherlands used Jordanian airports as a base for Dutch evacuation flights to bring nationals from Sudan and return to Jordanian territory.
