Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh met on Tuesday with Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, and Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Chief of Asia-Pacific & Africa Investments at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
The Prime Minister highlighted efforts and measures taken by the government to enhance the business environment in the Kingdom and simplify procedures related to investments, stressing that Jordan welcomes more Qatari investments in various sectors.
The two Qatari officials expressed interest in investing in Jordan in areas of tourism, health care, energy, textiles and other sectors.
It was also agreed that a delegation of Qatari businessmen would visit Jordan soon to explore available investment opportunities and increase cooperation between the two countries.
