JAF announces rocket explosion in Wadi Aqraba near Syrian borders
A rocket exploded on Saturday evening in the atmosphere of the Wadi Aqraba area, near the Syrian border, northern Jordan, where parts of it fell causing no injuries or damage in properties, according to an official military source.
The source, at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army, said that the rocket exploded at exactly 10:25 pm on Saturday.
'Specialist teams from the Royal Engineering Corps will deal with the accident site to reveal any further details,' the source added.
'JAF is continuing to monitor any developments in the situation in the region,' the noted.
JAF urged the public not to circulate rumors that would cause concerns among society, without referring to the credible source of information.
