First group of Queen Rania’s Ramadan Umrah mission departs Jordan
The first group of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah’s mission to perform Umrah has departed to Saudi Arabia today.
The mission consists of 500 women from across the kingdom, including, military personnel, those active in social service, beneficiaries of charity associations and civil society organizations, a number of volunteers, and women from families of martyrs.
The duration of each group’s stay in Mecca is 4 days and 3 nights. The last group is due to complete its pilgrimage and return to Jordan on April 5.
