Water minister's sister sentenced to 3 Months’ imprisonment
Amman Magistrate Court issued a ruling against the current water minister's sister, to 3 months in prison, on charges of slander and denigration, and that she was not responsible for the charge of sedition.
Twenty-one complainants had filed cases with the court, where its panel was chaired by Judge Sharaf Abu Latifa, who made a decision in presence subject to appeal.
It is noteworthy that any judicial ruling in which the penalty reaches up to 3 months can be replaced by a financial fine, in the event of the approval of the judge.
