A Jordanian source commented on what the Iranian press reported about His Majesty's King Abdullah II friendly and sincere conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian.

It was reported in the Iranian press that Abdollahian said that the conversation lasted for 40 minutes, in which His Majesty the king told him to convey his greetings to Ebrahim Raisi, and his interest to visit Tehran soon.

The Jordanian source told Ammon that this conversation was held when His Majesty received Abdollahian on the sidelines of the Baghdad Conference in the Dead Sea last December, provided that the royal visit takes place at the appropriate time.

Iran's Foreign Minister said that his country is looking forward to regional developments and bilateral relations with Jordan.
