Jordan to be among 1st countries leveraging new British e-visit permit program: Foreign Ministry
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that Jordan will be among the first countries to benefit from the new British electronic visit permit program, which will allow electronic submission of applications for visit permits to the United Kingdom as of February 2024.
The new program is part of Jordan and the United Kingdom's keenness to strengthen the historical relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the tourism and economic fields, and as a result of fruitful and positive interaction with the concerned British authorities, which was followed up by the Jordanian Embassy in London.
Hopefully, the new system, under which submitting visit permit applications will be electronically via a dedicated application, will contribute to obtaining a decision on the application more quickly. In addition, travelers with the necessary approvals can undertake multiple visits to the UK for a period of two years.
