Temperatures to rise 6-7 degrees above average on Monday
Temperatures are forecast to be 6-7 degrees higher than their annual average. Therefore, pleasant weather conditions will prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba where it will be relatively warm, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate to active, blowing dust in the Badia area, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will continue to rise until Thursday, bringing fair conditions in highlands, while it will be warm in other regions, the JMD added.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 22 degrees Celsius and a low of 8C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 28C, sliding to 14C at night.
