The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Thursday sent a new 14-truck convoy of relief aid to earthquake victims in Syria, which will be delivered to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
The JHCO stated that the convoy carries blankets, mattresses, power generators, foodstuffs, and medical supplies, which were dispatched according to a list of needs received from disaster management authorities in Damascus.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli expressed appreciation for the Jordanian public and private sectors' role in delivering financial or in-kind aid to earthquake survivors.
This was the fourth convoy sent this week, totaling 75 trucks sent to Syria by land since the start of the campaign.
