Foreign Ministry: No injuries among Jordanians as result of Turkey earthquake
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, through the Ministry's Operations Center Unit and the Jordanian Embassy in Ankara, is following up on situation of Jordanian citizens residing in Turkey and Syria, as a result of the recent earthquakes.
In a statement, the ministry's official spokesperson, Sinan Majali, said he ministry had not received any observations about injuries among Jordanians in Turkey and Syria, as a result of the earthquake that occurred on Monday.
Majali added, that the ministry follows up the affairs of Jordanians in Turkey and Syria from the first moments of the first earthquake until now, pointing out that the operations room operates around the clock and through hotlines and the Jordanian embassy in Turkey and Syria.
Majali called on Jordanian citizens residing in Turkey to call for help round the clock on the following hotline numbers.
