Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi received in his office, Tuesday, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the Kingdom, Aziz Daihani, on the occasion of the end of his duties as his country's ambassador to Jordan.
Safadi stressed that Jordan and Kuwait have deep-rooted and historical relations and he praised the great role played by Ambassador Daihani during his five years of work as his country's ambassador to Jordan, as he had clear imprints in enhancing joint cooperation prospects in all fields.
For his part, ambassador Daihani said, 'He is proud of his years of work in Jordan, and he felt the love and brotherhood of all Jordanians for Kuwait, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, who has strong and solid relations with his brother, the Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.'
'Jordan will remain in the heart, and I was keen throughout my work to enhance joint cooperation, as the relations that bind the two countries must build the closest relations in the interest of the two brotherly peoples', Daihani added.
