Discussing regional developments, the two sides highlighted the important role of the United States, in partnership with Jordan, in promoting stability, stressing the need to step up efforts to de-escalate and promote calm in the Palestinian Territories.
His Majesty reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian cause, calling for stepping up efforts to create a political horizon for relaunching the peace process, on the basis of the two-state solution.
In addition, the King highlighted the important role of regional economic integration projects in promoting stability and development in the region.
