The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) said that the total storage in the 13 main dams of the Kingdom is 79.8 million cubic meters out of their total capacity of 280.760 million cubic meters, with a storage rate of 28.5%.
The Ministry added that the dams that store the most are the Mujib dams with 21.7 million cubic meters of their storage capacity of 24.7 million cubic meters, the Wala Dam with 9 million cubic meters of their storage capacity of 25 million cubic meters, and the King Talal Dam with 23.3 million cubic meters of its storage capacity of 67 million cubic meters.
while Tannur Dam stored 4,558 million cubic meters of its storage capacity of 14.3 million cubic meters, Kafrein Dam 4 million cubic meters of its storage capacity of 8.4 million cubic meters, and Wadi Al Arab Dam 5.5 million cubic meters of its storage capacity 16 7 million cubic meters, while the rest of the dams have low storage rates.
