Interior Minister, AIMC's Secretary General discuss joint security cooperation
Minister of Interior Mazin Farrayeh met with the Secretary- General of the Arab of Interior Ministers Council (AIMC) Dr. Mohammad Bin Ali Kuman.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint Arab security cooperation, and wats to raise it to the highest levels and they reviewed the items on the agenda of the 40th session of the AIMC to be held in Tunisia during the month of March, which includes many security issues, including combating terrorism and drugs, cybercrime, and cybersecurity.
Farrayeh expressed his observations on some of the topics included in the session's agenda, stressing Jordan's keenness to implement the Council's decisions and recommendations and to provide all forms of support and assistance to the Council's General Secretariat.
For his part, Kuman praised Jordan's active role in supporting and developing the work mechanisms of the Council and its various organs, especially the Arab Bureau for Drugs and Crime Affairs.
During the meeting, Kuman invited Jordan to participate in the meetings of the next session of the Council.
