Temperatures to rise five degrees above average on Sunday
Temperatures on Sunday are expected to be 4-5 degrees above their annual average, with relatively cold weather conditions prevailing in much of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, where it will be pleasant, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to form in the eastern region, with southeasterly moderate to active winds, the JMD added.
Over the next two days, similar weather conditions will persist, with low clouds, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 5C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 13C at night.
