Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Tuesday arrived in the Swiss resort of Davos to take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF).
He will join political and economic leaders from across the world as well as ministers, executives of major international institutions, businessmen and regional and international organizations at the WEF annual meeting.
The Prime Minister will highlight to international firms and business leaders Jordan's attractive investment environment, the empowerment of existing investments and attracting more business and capital, and promoting entrepreneurship and economic initiatives.
Khasawneh headed a ministerial delegation, comprising Finance Minister Mohammad Al-Ississ, Environment Minister Muawiya Radaydeh and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zina Touqan.
On Thursday, the Prime Minister will participate in a session on Arab economies along with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid and representatives of Arab economic, financial and investment companies and institutions.
He will also meet in Davis with political and economic figures as well as corporate representatives and businessmen participating in the WEF.
This year, the forum will tackle the global economic situation and challenges, particularly the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine crisis.
