Jordanian flights across U.S. have not affected yet
Chairman of the Board of Commissioners at the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Haitham Mesto confirmed that the technical defect in the U.S. has not yet affected flights between Jordan and America.
In a statement to Ammon, Mesto said that flights between Jordan and the U.S. have been continuing normally until now, indicating that the United States may end the damage by five o'clock in the evening, in Jordan time.
He added that this defect affects USA domestic flights only, pointing out that some travelers who may use USA domestic flights may be delayed in arriving at the main airports that Royal Jordanian planes reach, and thus delays occur.
He explained that the defect affected the NOTAM system, which is a notice containing information essential to workers involved in flight operations.
