House Speaker: Parliament supports government's decision to summon Israeli ambassador
Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi said on Wednesday that the Jordanian parliament supports the government's decision to summon the Israeli ambassador in protest against the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He added during a session on Wednesday, that “the Israeli occupation has no sovereignty over the sanctities of Jerusalem.'
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs summoned the Israeli ambassador in Amman on Tuesday, to the ministry's headquarters, to convey a message of protest about the Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, storming the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Qudsi Al-Sharif.
