Ministry to discuss health situation in Jordan on Tuesday
The Secretary-General of the Ministry for Primary Health Care and Epidemiology, Dr. Raed Shboul, revealed that the ministry’s meeting on Tuesday comes to discuss developments in the public health situation in Jordan, while 3 files will be presented for discussion “RSV, cholera and the new strain of Corona.”
Shboul said in a statement to the PSD radio on Tuesday that the meeting of the committee will not come up with new changes to the health protocol but will emphasize preventive measures, and it will be in the presence of the representative of the WHO in Jordan, Dr. Jamela Al-Raiby.
He indicated that the Ministry of Health has the capacity to treat people with RSV, specifically children.
Shboul called on citizens to wear masks and avoid shaking hands or using other people's personal items.
