The Aqaba Magistrate Court has completed hearing the testimony of all 142 witnesses in the Aqaba toxic gas leak incident that occurred on June 27 and claimed the lives of 13 and injured 142 others.
In their testimony in court, some of the injured stated that they had no desire to bring or pursue a claim against the defendants.
The court has filed charges against 11 individuals, including 13 counts of involuntary manslaughter, 142 counts of causing injury, breach of duty, property damage, and failure to provide a safe workplace for employees exposed to various physical, chemical, and biological hazards.
