Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Sunday met with Japanese Ambassador to Jordan, Okuyama Jiro.
The meeting comes within the framework of strengthening military cooperation relations between the two countries, according to an Army statement.
Huneiti discussed with Jiro, aspects of joint cooperation and coordination in various military, operational, training and logistical fields to achieve the desired goals to serve the two countries' armed forces.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army, and Japanese Military Defense Attache in Amman.
