The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC), on Thursday warned on of fraud and scams from parties claiming to be affiliated with any invoices company.
The center warned, through a post on its website, that a message had been received to citizens stating “congratulations on winning a cash prize.”
After responding to the message, the account holder is contacted through a landline number claiming to be affiliated with ( eFAWATEERcom), and the victim’s national number is requested, after that he will receive a verification message consisting of 4 numbers, which the caller will request from him.
In this process, the fraudster will be able to withdraw the amounts belonging to the victim, and not be able to log into his account on 'eFAWATEERcom'.
The NCSC stressed the need to take precaution and caution against such parties, and always make sure that the sending party is the correct and reliable one, and not to share bank information with other parties.
