Public security director, Sudanese envoy talk police cooperation
Jordan's Public Security Directorate (PSD) Chief, Major General Obaidullah Maaytah, and Sudan's Ambassador to Jordan Hassan Siwar Al Dahab Saturday held a meeting in Amman on police and security cooperation.
During the meeting, Maaytah talked about the 'deep' ties between the security directorates in Jordan and Sudan, noting they 'extend from the strong and historical relationship between Jordan and Sudan.'
He added that he is keen to strengthen joint Arab cooperation and coordination, especially in law enforcement, combating crime and the exchange between Arab states the best security and police practices and experiences.
Siwar Al Dhahab, in turn, praised Jordan's PSD's reputable position at the local and international levels, noting the importance of strengthening cooperation to enhance security in the two countries.
