Cabinet approves national response plan to climate change
The Cabinet Wednesday approved the National Response Plan to Climate Change 2022 - 2025, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Jordan to contribute to the global effort to realise climate stability.
It seeks to avoid, reduce and adapt to the negative impacts of climate change on natural resources, including agriculture and water.
The Cabinet approved an amendment to the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) bylaw of 2022.
The amended bylaw determines the salaries of employees appointed to the second group jobs of the higher category, employees of the first, second, and third categories and employees who have 'comprehensive' contracts.
