Ayla Oasis Development Company (AODC) and Run Jordan inked an agreement on Monday to organize the 17th edition of the Red Sea half marathon on December 2nd in partnership with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
This year's edition is split into two categories: 10-kilometer and 21-kilometer tracks, in addition to a children race held as part of Run Jordan's program aimed to educate society on sports and a healthy lifestyle.
In a press release, AODC Managing Director Sahl Dudin said the organization of the sporting event is part of the company's responsibility in supporting the sport sector and showcasing Jordan as a center for local, regional, and global competitions.
Run Jordan's Director-General Lina Kurd noted that the opportunity is still available for runners to join and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ayla's running tracks.
Registration for the marathon is available through its website, www.RunJordan.com, or at its Amman offices from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting today through November 30.
