Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned of the danger of slipping on the roads on Friday, in areas witnessing rain, and of low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog in the early morning and late-night hours over the high mountainous heights, in addition to the low horizontal visibility due to dust in the Badia regions.
The JMD expected that an unstable atmosphere would prevail in the Kingdom on Friday, as clouds multiply at different heights, and local showers of rain are expected in separate parts of the Kingdom, especially in the southern and eastern regions, accompanied by thunder sometimes in some areas.
The winds will be northwesterly moderate in the daytime, brisk at times.
Adding that the atmosphere at night is cold in many areas, and the temperature is pleasant in Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba, with the continued appearance of clouds at different altitudes, especially in the eastern regions.
Showers of rain are possible in limited parts of the east of the Kingdom, which may be accompanied by thunder sometimes. Winds will be northwesterly moderate.
