Health launches new electronic services for civil health insurance
The Ministry of Health launched the first package of electronic services for the Civil Health Insurance Department, which includes 7 services for subscribers.
That providing these services electronically came with the aim of simplifying procedures, improving services provided to citizens and facilitating them, the ministry said, in a press statement, on Tuesday.
This package included optional health insurance subscription services on Article (30), according to age groups, the category of pregnant women, a cure card for cancer patients, Article (30) over the age of 60, poor families, and persons with disabilities over the age of 18. and beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund.
The new electronic services allow health insurance subscribers to issue and renew insurance cards without the need to visit the health insurance directorates, and to issue replacements for lost and damaged cards and to cancel these cards electronically.
It also allows, in addition to the option of receiving cards from the usual issuance and renewal centers, the possibility of receiving them through the Jordan Post Company and providing electronic payment options.
The Ministry called on those wishing to obtain and benefit from the new electronic services, to enter the Sanad application or the e-government portal portal.jordan.gov.jo, or by entering the electronic services link published on the website of the Department of Electronic Health Insurance hia.gov.jo.
