Court hears testimony of overseas witnesses in corruption case
An anti-corruption judicial panel at the Amman Magistrate's Court on Wednesday heard testimony from two prosecution witnesses who testified via video conference from outside the Kingdom in a case involving a public joint-stock insurance company.
The two witnesses, both former board members of the company in question, testified from the British capital, London, and California, in the United States.
The defendants in the case are charged with two counts: waste of public funds and conflict of interest.
