Sheikh Hilal bin Marhoon Al-Maamari, the Ambassador of Oman to Jordan, asserted on Monday that His Majesty King Abdullah II's upcoming visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday will strengthen the historical ties between the two countries.

'Jordanian-Omani relations are deeply rooted and well-established, spanning decades and continuing in educational, cultural, and military aspects,' he added, highlighting the contribution of Jordanian expatriates to Oman's development.
Al-Maamari also highlighted investment opportunities in health, mining, and tourism in both countries, as well as cultural collaboration through the Omani Studies Unit at Al al-Bayt University and the exchange of joint cultural programs.
