Moscow warns against 'point of no return' in relations with Washington
The Kremlin Saturday issued a grim warning to the U.S. not to cross the 'point o no return' between the two countries and against severing ties with Washington.
'Russia does not want to engage in hypothetical conversations about reducing diplomatic representation between the two countries, especially since things are developing rapidly,' said Alexander Darchiev, Director of the North American Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Darchiev added: 'There is the legislative initiative that the U.S. Congress is discussing regarding declaring Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. This means crossing the point of no return in the relations between the two countries.'
